There is currently no legal way for tourists or visitors to Germany to purchase cannabis:
The sale of cannabis containing THC is still illegal in Germany, even though the possession and personal use of up to 25 grams has been legalized.
There are no licensed cannabis shops or pharmacies where people can legally purchase cannabis yet.
The only upcoming legal option will be through “cannabis clubs” starting in July 2024, but it’s unclear if these clubs will be open to foreign nationals or tourists.
The search results advise against trying to buy cannabis from street dealers or in parks, as the quality is often poor and contaminated1.
Sharing cannabis with others, even if you have legally grown it yourself, is also still illegal.
